Rani is an experienced public health professional, passionate about ensuring that healthcare is inclusive and equitable. She has worked in the development sector for 19 years, during which she has raised fund for nonprofits. Rani led the Biocon Foundation for 12 years, between 2005 and 2017. She led the foundation’s preventive and primary healthcare programs under which they ran 8 primary health centers across Karnataka. The foundation also collaborated with the state governments of Rajasthan and Karnataka, to manage and support government primary health centres and sub-centres. Rani initiated strong interventions for early detection, prevention, and management of chronic diseases, including oral, breast, and cervical cancer, and diabetes and hypertension. Among the many awards that the foundation won under Rani’s leadership, the award and recognition that she treasures the most is the first Public Health Champion award presented by the World Health Organization, India in 2015.

Brigadier Mac Devaiah is a veteran of the Indian army, who joined the corporate world after retiring. He has spent the last decade of his career working with companies to build strong relationships with government, and brings this experience to Anahat to build sustainable partnerships to scale this model of healthcare delivery.
Chetan S M
Chetan is a founder and Director of Axxonet, a company that works in the field of Homeland Security, Forensics, and Medical Devices. He has helped mould Axxonet into a premier research organization, in the areas of cognitive and neuro research, and he opened the Axxonet Brain Research Lab. He is an Executive Council member of the Cognitive Neuroscience Society of India. Chetan brings his expertise in mobile technology development which will help Anahat to scale programs rapidly.
